Privacy Policy

Afro Tennis Club (“ATC,” “we,” “us”) operates afrotennisclub.co and the Afrotennis Club mobile apps. This policy explains what we collect and why.

Information we collect

• Account details — name, email, phone (optional), address when you apply or update your profile.
• Membership & purchases — plan, tickets, court bookings, invoices, and payment status. Card data is handled by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
• App activity — events you RSVP to, tickets, messages we send you, and device push tokens if you enable notifications.
• Health data (optional) — if you connect Apple Health or Health Connect, we may read steps, workouts, and active energy to power optional “Your Year” insights. You can disconnect anytime. We do not sell health data.
• Technical data — IP address, device type, and basic logs needed to run and secure the service.

How we use information

• Provide membership, events, courts, tickets, and club communications.
• Process payments and send receipts / ticket PDFs.
• Send transactional email and (if enabled) push notifications.
• Improve the club experience and keep the platform secure.
• Comply with law and resolve disputes.

Sharing

We share data with service providers who help us operate (for example Stripe for payments, email delivery, hosting, and Firebase Cloud Messaging for push). We do not sell your personal information.

Retention

We keep account and transaction records as long as needed for membership, accounting, and legal obligations. You may request account deletion from the app or website; we anonymize or remove personal data where we can while retaining records we must keep (such as paid invoices).

Your choices

• Update profile details while signed in.
• Disconnect health sharing in Account → Health.
• Turn off push notifications in your device settings.
• Request account deletion in Account settings (app or web).
• Email us to access or correct information we hold.

Children

The service is intended for adults and members authorized by the club. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without appropriate parental / guardian involvement managed by the club.
